My Italian Journey 

My work is shaped by a personal journey of rediscovering my Italian ancestry and the landscapes that have held my family’s stories for centuries. As I trace my lineage through towns in the Campania like Pietradefusi and San Nazzaro, I am equally tracing an emotional and visual map—one that lives in memory, land, and inherited longing. These paintings are not simply depictions of place; they are acts of what I call, "visual genealogy", where coastlines, hills, and light carry the presence of the people who came before me. Through layered surfaces and atmospheric color, I explore how ancestral landscapes imprint themselves across generations, creating a quiet but powerful sense of belonging that transcends time and geography.
